No. Nothing is filed, sent, or submitted anywhere on your behalf. Client updates are generated for you to read, edit, and send yourself. This is deliberate — you stay in control of everything that leaves your desk.

No, and it isn't built to. It gives you a first draft with its sources shown, so you can check it fast and take it further. Every AI output is reviewable and carries a disclaimer. The work is still yours.

Yes. Set the witness's language to Kannada and the questions generate in Kannada — not translated afterwards, generated in Kannada. You can toggle to English while you prepare, and the PDF export keeps the Kannada intact so it reads correctly on paper.

Every question carries a source — the document it came from and the page or paragraph within it. Click it and you see the actual text the question was built on. Contradictions show both sides with both citations. If VakilDesk can't ground a question in your documents, it says so instead of inventing a citation.

The prep plan gives you questions to ask. Mock Witness lets you actually ask them — an AI plays the witness and answers as they plausibly would, sticking to what's in the record and evading what isn't. Ten questions per session, then a debrief on what landed and where you left gaps. Sessions are saved so you can replay them.

It tells you. VakilDesk is built to say "I need more documents" rather than fill the gap with something plausible. A confident wrong answer is worse than no answer in this work.

No. Cross-examination adapts to the case type — civil and property, criminal, cheque bounce under the NI Act, family, and motor accident claims each get relevant witness types, terminology, and strategy focus.

Scanned PDFs and photographs of documents both work — VakilDesk runs OCR on them. Clear scans read better than phone photos, so scan where you can.

No. Every case is scoped to the account that created it, enforced on the server. There is no shared or cross-firm visibility.

Yes. Notes can be marked private, and private notes are excluded from every AI call — they never form part of the context sent to the model. Use them for anything you want recorded but not fed into generation.
